چکیده
This paper focuses on combining resistivity and pressure measurements to determine the effectiveness of foam as a mobility control method. It presents theoretical framework describe expected changes during CO2-foam displacements. With this objective, we first provide equations estimate for systems then utilize two distinct models quantify these effects. Using analytical solutions based fractional flow theory, present distributions ideal non-ideal reservoir displacement scenarios. Additionally, assuming only, examine inter-dependency between various parameters. Our results suggest that combination in time-lapse mode could be deployed an effective monitoring tool field applications (CO2) processes. The proposed method is novel it employed predict under-performing floods improve oil recovery CO2 storage.

Ground Monitoring using Resistivity Measurements in Glaciated Terrains
The most common method of monitoring and mapping groundwater contaminants is to extract and analyse a number of groundwater samples from wells in the investigation area. However, there are a number of limitations with this type of point-wise investigation, as it is hard to acquire an adequate picture of a heterogeneous and anisotropic subsurface using a few points. To overcome the limitations o...
متن کاملCapillary Pressure and Resistivity Measurements Using the Centrifuge: a New Interpretation Method
Simultaneous in-situ measurements of resistivity and capillary pressure in a centrifuge up to speeds of 10000 rpm are reported. The setup can easily be automated for routine measurements and the electrode design takes advantage of the centrifugal force to maintain good contact between the sample and the electrodes. For converting the experimentally measured average saturations and resistivities...
متن کاملCO2 reactivity testing without blood pressure monitoring?
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Responsiveness to CO2 is an established test of cerebrovascular reserve capacity. Arterial partial pressure of CO2 (PCO2) and arterial blood pressure (BP) are key parameters for cerebral blood flow. To investigate the interaction between PCO2 and BP, we performed a study with simultaneous measurement of CO2 and BP during CO2 reactivity testing with transcranial Doppler so...
متن کاملMonitoring Personalized Trait Using Oscillometric Arterial Blood Pressure Measurements
The blood pressure patterns obtained from a linearly or stepwise deflating cuff exhibit personalized traits, such as fairly uniform peak patterns and regular beat geometry; it can support the diagnosis and monitoring of hypertensive patients with reduced sensitivity to fluctuations in Blood Pressure BP over time. Monitoring of personalized trait in Oscillometric Arterial Blood Pressure Measurem...
متن کاملMultiprobe experiments under high pressure: resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, heat capacity, and thermopower measurements around 5 GPa.
We have performed multiprobe experiments using a Bridgman-anvil pressure cell, adapted to trap Daphne oil as pressure medium. Resistivity, ac-magnetic susceptibility, thermopower, and ac-heat capacity of a type-I superconductor, lead, have been studied at low temperature up to 5+/-0.1 GPa. This is the first report where ac-magnetic susceptibility has been measured in this type of pressure cell ...
